Yes, you heard correctly: you don’t have to blow up the mat with your mouth – it does it all by itself! As much as 396 Air Sprung Cells deform individually as you move, so the mat conforms to individual parts of your body as a result of the pressure applied to it. This results in an exceptionally high level of comfort. As if that weren’t enough, Seat to Summit has added Hybrid Layer technology, a double layer of cells at the torso to make things even more comfortable. To reduce weight, they used a thinner layer in the areas that don’t require has much thickness (like the head and foot).For durability and protection from rough surfaces, the base is made of tough 30D polyester. If the mat gets a hole in it, you can use the repair kit that comes with the mat to patch it up. For compact and easy transport, the mat comes with a stuff sack as well.
